Moving Washing Machine Into Cellar

Pretty unlikely I'd have thought.
My Miele washer has a drain pump head of 1 metre… that pump can be replaced (at great expense no doubt) with one having a head of 1.8 metres. There are limits to the drain hose lengths with either drain pump (greater head being a shorter length!).
A previous washer brand was also a max of 1 metre head.

i think screwfix do a dirty water pump thats good for up to 8 metres lift for £60 ish. You could have your washer empty into a big plastic tub and pump it out as needed.

Would this be instead of permanently plumbing it into the drainage system?
Hadn’t thought of that as a solution.
There is a soil stack in the area from a bathroom on top floor but water would have to be pumped upwards quiet a height to meet it.0 -
As long as the height is less then 8 metres then yes it should work, I would probably buy a pump that worked automatically as soon as the water level in the container the washer drains into reached a certain level, box it all into a cupboard and it would look quite neat (probably)
Edit - thinking about it the obvious solution is to stick a macerator in and plumb the washer into it.0
