This morning doggo and I have been to the local market to buy some plants for the garden, then we have been to a puppy club session, we get one free session as part of our puppy pack at the Vets. It was half an hour of playing with other puppies and talking to a behaviourist, it was great fun, made even better by a 6 month old Great Dane pup being there who was huge!

Got home at 11:45 and my new phone was delivered at 11:55. My time slot was 12-6 so very happy that I don't need to keep checking out the window for the delivery guy all day long. Just setting it all up now then off to see Mum for a bit before the afternoon of football.

Thanks Alison PP … so sorry, I rarely get on here at the minute, my laptop is broken and am always busy with Winnie :)

Life is good, half-term has been lovely - amazing weather, lots of chilling and getting out and about (early mornings and in the evenings) with Winnie. This week she has learned to swim and has been off the lead quite a bit. She's 6 months old already which seems crazy, gone so so fast.

We've been hitting the car boot sales at the weekends as somewhere to go nice and early. I've been buying various bits and pieces to flip on Vinted. A nice new side hustle, especially as the footie season has finished now.

Thanks Sun Addict, a crazy week back at work, followed by a wet weekend. This morning we went to the beach but not for long as it was blowing a hoolie and raining. Today has been a chilling day with housework, food shop etc being plodded through.

I've been to the pet shop and bought Winnie some new treats as she has got her big girl teeth through and is still very chewy :) She's currently munching her way through a lambs foot …

The rest of today / tomorrow involves a nice hot bath and some pampering, taking new photos for some of the stuff that hasn't sold on Vinted and relisting them, plus I have some work stuff to get done.

And I'm back …. sorry for the long absence; laptop died, life got in the way and somehow two months have passed. But I'm back, with a laptop that works! It is the summer holidays now for me, one week in already and so far it has been a good one, more on that later.

I do, just for my longest serving friend on here, have a holiday to do list, I will put it in the next post. I have done some bits already, tonnes more to work through, although the aim this summer is to have a chilled fun 6 weeks and get bits done along the way.

It is nearly the end of the month so the banking needs a good overhaul this week, I've very much taken my eye off the ball recently. My Aunts property sale completed yesterday so that is one big job finished, now to wait for the estate to be finalised etc.

Winnie is doing very well, she's 8 months old now and still utterly gorgeous, the best decision I've made in a long time. I am doing a lot more walking again now since I've had her, we're down the beach most mornings around 5:00am, for an hour before I go to work, she absolutely loves it down there, running like a loony.

So, back to the good news - I am a regular watcher of a Youtube channel, and a couple of weeks ago while doom scrolling on social media I clicked on one of those "People you might know" things, and it was the guy who presents it. I sent a friend request, not sure why really as I don't ever do that, anyway, to cut a long story short he replied, we chatted, he lives very locally, we went for a date last week, got on very well and are meeting again tomorrow for a coffee and a walk :) :) He's my usual type - cheeky chappie, cute smile and sparkly eyes, and is younger than me. Considerably younger than me. But he doesn't mind that, I don't mind that, so lets see how this goes :) :) Even if it doesn't end up going anywhere romantically we have a shared interest that we can chat about til the cows come home and I can see us being close mates if nothing more.

Anyway, in time honoured tradition of my holidays, it's time for an afternoon nap :)
