Difficult to tell from the photographs, but what is the outer finish of the walls?

If brick, or block and render, then I doubt there would be a problem with mortgaging, certainly not up here in Scotland.

Think I read recently that over 80% of new builds here are timber frame.

    Yup always lots of buts…..

But offset groundworks for multiple houses against employing construction staff rather than paying for the turnkey solution.

But offset cost of manufacture and transport from overseas by using UK facilities and giving people the skills.
