Capital Bank - Can I Still Claim

I had a finance agreement in April 2007 (Agreement started 20 April 2007) which was with Capital Bank. I understand that Capital Bank was taken over by HBOS (Halifax Bank of Scotland) which then merged into Lloyds Banking Group in the 2008/9 takeover - and my agreement may have ultimately ended up with Black Horse.
Has anyone else had an agreement with Capital Bank and could anyone advise if I can complain, and if so, who should I direct the initial enquiry to?
Many thanks.
