Black Horse Finance reclaim

Hi everyone, I'm a newbie and hoping that someone will be able to guide me.

My late husband had car finance from May/June 2007 from Black Horse until he died in 2012.
I contacted them last June ('25) and since then I have been going round and round in circles
where they just ask the same questions and I provide the same answers. Then I get another email requesting the same thing.

I looked on Equifax, which does recognise our old address in Scotland when the car was bought, but no agreements come up for that address. All the details on there are for the past 10 years at my current address.

I don't know quite how to progress this.
Ombudsman? Fill in the form on this website - is that ok to do considering I have already made contact with Black Horse?

Can anyone point me in the right direction for my next step? I'm really at a loss.
Appreciate any help.
Thanks
Val

You don't need to do anything. You have already registered your complaint.

    Ombudsman?

You dont have access to the ombudsman at this time.

Fill in the form on this website - is that ok to do considering I have already made contact with Black Horse?

That is unnecessary. It will just duplicate what you have already done.

    Hi,
    Thanks for the info.

I'm just trying to understand the process and am unsure if I have actually complained because Black Horse insist they have not found any info even though I have supplied eg the reg number of my husband's car.

No need to reply if the above communication with BH does in fact constitute a complaint.

    Thanks for your time.
