I was tempted to buy a takeaway and a glasses case but I didn't. So it hasn't gone up but it hasn't gone down.

I'm at the point where I've maxed out available credit.

So have you thought about what you are going to do next to tackle the debt?

And have you taken on board ANY of the helpful suggestions people here have made to you about budgeting? You asked a question and complete strangers have invested their time and effort in trying to help you, but you've made no comment in response. You desperately need help, people are trying to help, and you don't even acknowledge that they have responded. This is a pattern throughout your diaries. Your debts are getting worse and you are in a difficult position, but until you truly recognise that and fully open up to what's needed then you are not going to make any progress and people are going to stop trying to help you

As above and I have to say, for a long time I thought that we were trying to help a very young woman…..

It was obvious in the previous thread how old (approximately) the OP is... Graduation 20 years ago puts them at 40+

Ah don’t remember seeing the previous thread but she sounded very young - or am I only remembering my attitude to money at a young age…….

It's the weekend. 4.47 and I'm up ready for the gym. Curse my shattered body clock. Just having a cup of decaf coffee.

I have been reading a bit about "giving every penny a job". So I would go into the month with all my spending broken down. I guess it could work. I need to look at my budget again. I need to do some more reading. My life is quite predictable so it could work. Something to ponder.

I have some overtime coming up. Someone has snaffled the good day which I'm annoyed about but I have B/H Monday. If only I was in my old job where you got double time and a day in lieu for a bank holiday. That may have been my very kind boss. Shoulda woulda coulda.

    Right. Gonna plan my day.
