Unknown leak 1 month after moving in.

II can understand if you don't feel confident about it. A friend of mine had a similar issue that he thought was rising damp in an 80's build. He didn't want to dig up the screed himself, but I got him started and left him to it.
He spent about half a day cutting out the channels finding a couple of leaks,
A simple job for the plumber then, and 10 minutes for me to fill in the screed.
You often get issues with copper pipes in screeds of they aren't protected.

Update.
Plumber came, identified the leak after stripping off the casing, replaced the pipework and coupling thing, says should be all good now.
Gunna leave the carpet back for a few days just to test it, got some paper towel wrapped around the pipe so if it does leak I'll know.
Hopefully this is problem solved! And it only cost me £60 through ovo insurance he was here for 1.5 hours.
