Santander £180 switch offer (01/04/2026 to 31/07/2026)

Santander have (rather sneakily IMO) withdrawn the old £200 switch offer and replaced it with a new offer for £180.

What you need to do:

1: Submit a switch request on or after 1st April 2026 and before the switch offer is withdrawn (31st July 2026).

2: Complete a full switch to a new or existing Santander Everyday, Edge, Edge Up, Edge Explorer or Private (v2) current account using the Current Account Switch Service (CASS).

3: Within 60 days of you submitting your switch request:

+ pay at least £1,500 into your Santander account, through 1 or more payments,

+ have at least 2 active Household direct debits in place on your Santander account. These direct debits must be active at the point your eligibility is assessed.

Your account will be assessed 60 days after the switch has been instructed. If you qualify, you'll receive your switching bonus within 30 days.

Excludes anyone who held a Santander current account on 1st January 2025 or anyone who has received a Santander switch incentive in the past.

You can also use TopCashback to get an extra between £20 cashback (as well as the £45 Amazon gift card).

Has anyone received their switching bonus for this offer yet? My 60 days were up on 25th June [yesterday], customer services confirmed I've met the requirements so just a waiting game….

One of the conditions on this offer is 'has never had a switch bonus from Santander before'. How far back in time is 'never' ? I might have had one twenty years ago? Maybe? Would they remember this?

I think it would be very, very impressive if they did and decline your payout because of that. I suggest you just go ahead and try.

I've transferred in £1,500 from my savings as required. Does this need to be kept in until the bonus has been paid?

This offer will end on 31st July 2026 (no time given, but it's usually 11.59pm). If you wish to partake you need to submit your switch request on or before this date. You then need to complete your switch within 60 days of your switch request date.

The £45 Amazon gift card offer also ends on 31st July 2026 (at 2.00pm).
