Got a ticket for parking on kerb...
Hi, I wonder if anyone has any advance on this please. I parked at the side of the road in my motorhome in Scarborough and the near side wheels were on the kerb. I got a ticket for "not parked correctly within the confines of the bay or space". The thing is there are no hatched lines on the inside of the bay so there's nothing to actually say where the bay ends. I was not blocking the pavement (the pavement is really wide even though it doesn't look like it is in the photo). What are my chances of successfully appealing it please?

Same advice as in other council matters regarding roads and highways etc, try the FTLA parking forum website for advice , like this dropped kerb example yesterday

The part on the pavement is clearly outside the bay

The kerb marks the edge of the carriageway and pavement boundary. Pavements are for people, not vehicles.

Thank you Gr1pr, that is very useful. I wasn't aware of that website. Cheers!
