Post mediation
I've only recently been looking on this forum but certainly wished I had several months ago when I got my ticket.
I have just filled out the n180 form as per a template I found on this forum so I'm waiting for a mediation call , I have already offered B W legal £20 and it seems the advice is not to offer any more.
In my case i simply didn't see the signs, I have been up recently and there are several in the carpark although not right in the corner where I was parked but my argument may seem weak.
My question is I was probably only there for 7-8 minutes does the 10min grace period reasonable grounds for defence?

Your defence has already been submitted, so i suggest that you post a copy below
You dont normally get a second go
Name the claimant too

The claimant is UK parking patrol Office limited.
The car park is a petrol station next to Newcastle Airport.
I submitted a defence on mcol but been having a nightmare trying to log back in, they haven't sent me an email or a postal copy so it's just from memory.
Their complaint is i parked in the carpark for the 'sole purpose' of picking someone up from the airport.
My defence was basically that it was not my sole purpose as I pulled into the garage to get some refreshments before I collected my friend from the airport.
However when I arrived at the garage his flight had landed early and he was already outside the airport. He said he would just walk over which he did.
I honestly can't remember if I bought refreshments or not but I don't have a receipt.
I only read about the 10 min grace after submitting my defence as I was probably only there 7 or 8 min.
I had an initial letter from UPPOL which I didn't respond to as it was the usual pay xx or else. They then involved B W legal with their threatening letters of escalation which I did respond to and have told the court I responded to them but with no reply except more threatening letters.
So I'm now at the point where we've both submitted n180 forms .
Bit long winded and I'm late to mse but advice would be appreciated.
Thanks

Your defence and N180 are logged and you appear to have completed the mediation stage , or will do soon ( follow the advice in the 8 steps in the defence template thread in announcements )
Then wait For the claim to be transferred to your local civil court and then wait for the court order from your local court to arrive in the post ( its all by letters )

Relax. Your Witness Statement is where you can bring all this up.
Assuming it gets that far.
