Apologies. Brain fade on my part. The Cdi is certainly a combi.
I was mixing it up with the Ri series.

We've always had WB boilers and a few years ago changed our old one (approx 15 years in service) for a Greenstar 8000. Very happy with it, particularly since it came with a 12 year guarantee.

Just make sure you understand the warranty conditions. Our WB only has a 5 year warranty but as it was here when we bought the house we only found out when it went wrong. But WB repaired it for free even though it was a few days after the 5 years.

Looking at google, the more modern 4000, is cheaper to buy than the older model.
Both have 10 year guarantees, as long as you follow the rules.

To be fair I think the 8000 series is more of a natural successor to the Greenstar CDi rather than the 4000 and that is a lot more expensive.
