    Further to this has your mum got travel insurance in place? The holiday would obviously not be a complete surprise but she needn't know the exact destination in Europe until you decide to tell her.

    I've done it - deposit down, holiday booked!
    Just need to book the hotel & parking bit now.

    I'm just going to get this for us both, probably go with Tesco as I get 30% colleague discount (Quote was for around £20)
    Unless anyone has any other recommendations.
