What would be a good deal for Toyota car
Good Evening all
I am considering going back to Toyota and have a few questions as I am a bit rubbish with cars.
I have narrowed it down to a new Yaris excel or new Aygo X Design wirh safety add ons and paint protection.
The Aygo will be around £250 and £330 a month respectively or that what it is so far. Are these great/good or bad offers for the respective cars.
Also is it better to finance it on a loan or through the finance of Toyota.
Thank you
Alex

First of all, remove the paint protection. What else has the dealer 'added on'?

Not much other than that. They did try and well me on dash cams though. I'm a novice navigating a good deal and what is reasonable. Makes me feel a right imbecile

What are the actual details on the cars? £330/month over how many months? PCP or HP?

"They did try and well me on dash cams though"
I take it you meant "sell", and presumably you didn't accept so that cost isn't included in the monthly pricing. I did have front/rear dashcam included when I bought my Yaris, it's not cheap (you would certainly be able to get a different setup for less) but it is well integrated into the car so you might want to consider it if it doesn't add too much to the monthly figure.
Have you driven both cars? I had an Aygo X as a courtesy car when my Yaris was in for a service and while it was OK it felt a lot less solid than the Yaris does.

Have a look at carwow and see what a broker can offer the vehicles for.

Yeah I meant sell haha. I did drive both and prefer the Yaris but it is whether it is worth the extra 80 a month for 3 years. I am aware Yaris tends to keep its value more which is positive.

The downside with the original Aygo was the 1.0 engine, which was OK for town trips and very reliable, but long distance or high speed wasn't comfortable.
With the new Aygo X hybrid having the same 1.5 engine and gearbox as the Yaris I suspect the only difference between that and the Yaris is size.
The Aygo X only has four seats, a small boot and no rear wind down windows, but in terms of performance I doubt there is much between them. So in the end its down to personal preference.
If a Yaris is preferred I'd consider a used one. Plenty to choose from and Toyota will provide a new warranty every year if it is main dealer serviced until the tenth annual service. Ours was 4 years old with 18,000 miles. No issues in almost 12 months ownership.0 -
Another vote for doing this - it's an easy way to see offers without any strings attached.
Other car broker info is available.

Why dont you post the exact deal, deposit, milage, colour, term 3 or 4 years etc.
Then a bettter quote may be found.
I know nothing about leasing, fount these 2 options, £250 more with pan roof.
Pan roof
New car price £25,855
Pan roof £26,280
Looking at 4 year old car with under 25k on the clock they are selling for 16.5k plus.
Buying new and selling in 4 years looks a better deal.
New £25,885.00
leasing £17,649.52
Leaves £8235.48
Sell for 16.5k
8K better off.
I know there is more to it than that, but thats how i see it.
Lease deals, just fill out details.

Both have an assumptive mileage of 6000 with a deposit of £3000. Colour is the basic colour which comes at no extra cost and over 3 years.
Aygo X Design with safety pack: £247
Yaris Excel: 328
