BMW finance, receiving emails about other peoples agreements
Hi,
I had a car that was financed through BMW Finance and raised a claim as suggested by Martin using the tool this site provided.
I am now getting emails from both Mini and BMW about finance agreements and registrations that have no association with me, however the name on the email does match.
I've previously replied to the Mini one and told them about their mistake, but I guess it was lumped into the massive pile of emails and nothing more has been done.
Anyone else had similar?
Is it cause for concern?
Thanks

Complain to the firm directly, don't just send an email which is often to an unmonitored inbox, worst case, push it to the ICO, they might get a fine/slap on the wrist for not doing proper data management
It is no concern to you directly
Sam Vimes' Boots Theory of Socioeconomic Unfairness:
People are rich because they spend less money. A poor man buys $10 boots that last a season or two before he's walking in wet shoes and has to buy another pair. A rich man buys $50 boots that are made better and give him 10 years of dry feet. The poor man has spent $100 over those 10 years and still has wet feet.
