ISA - topping up before april for tax-free savings
Currently have 0 in my ISA if I top up my ISA to 20k before 5th April 2026, does this mean I get an additional tax free 20k allowance next year ie I can invest 40k in my ISA tax free starting from 6th April 2026 and all the interest on the 40k will be tax free for the financial year 2026-2027

You may need to do it by the 2nd April, as 3rd is a Bank Holiday, and 4th and 5th are the weekend
