Oh, 30 mins away is hardly unreasonable. That you're doing it in 4 trips is what's making it so convoluted.
They may cover a courtesy vehicle whilst it's in, but they won't offer any other compensation. Where would they draw the line? 2x 30 minute taxis is expensive, but what if you were actually 2 hours away?
Is the van driver able to get public transport back, or hang about until the repair is done?2
