O2 blue light discount 25% not working

I'm trying to get blue light discount for 25% off my airtime. I get blue light discount due to being a teacher. It asks me to enter my work email address which I do but it won't let me progress as it says 'enter a valid email address, not a personal address'. It IS a valid work email! Can anyone help please?

Can you give the address of the page you are having trouble with?

Are you happy to share your work email (just the bit after the "at" symbol *

    * I've put the "at" symbol in my post and it's sent the new editor wobbly

I have a blue light card as I'm retired NHS and I didn't realise I could get 25% off. But it also means I don't have a work email so I wonder how that will work?

Unless it's changed, you had to be employed still in a blue light eligible job. Other companies may differ though.

Looking at the Blue Light site, does seem that the benefits available to retirees are somewhat less than those who are still employed - the discounts seem to be limited to shopping/retail discounts, what's missing (at least from my cursory examination) are the services/insurance products and those for telecoms products.

Use the payslip option instead but take a photo of the ID badge you wear for work with your name, job title and photo on instead. Use the discount code TEACH instead of BLUE1. This should work.

    CC limits £26000

    Long term CC debt £0

Total low rate loan debt £3000

    Almost debt free feeling, priceless.

Ex money nightmare, learnt from my mistakes and never going back there again, in control of my finances for the first time in my adult life and it feels amazing.
