@dp1 - Right now you're between a rock and a hard place and being pulled in all directions so please remember to take some time out for yourself, even if it's only the odd 15 minutes here and there. I'm so glad to hear their meet up went well and have my fingers crossed they can be together eventually. X

@Suffolksue - hope your hip operation goes well. I will probably be having my back surgery at the same time. Not being able to get around has been a real pain.

@dp1 - Hugs for you and your parents. It is so frustrating when the powers that be won't listen to reason.

Today started out cold, gray, and misty. Expecting a high of 20C though. Our strange weather is going back and forth. Tomorrow is supposed to be 26C, up to 29C on Saturday, back down to 19C next week. At least we might get some Spring-like weather in here. We never did get a Winter (the last week of Winter was about 30C plus all week). We were using fans instead of a heater. Worried a little about this summer. Our hottest months are usually July and September with slightly lower temperatures in August, but that could mean 30C this year or higher.

That's so lovely! 👩‍❤️‍👩 Well done to you and the family for making sure that they got together, even if only for short time. My fingers are crossed that they can both be in the same home shortly.
