Morning folks and thanks SCARLET. It's a glorious start here with blue sky and sunshine but, by heck, it's a nippy one. Woke up to frost. Brr.
DS and his DP are flying off to the Canaries this morning for 5 days but I think we might be due better weather here. Tenerife had snow on Saturday and the forecast for them for the next few days is rain. But, as he says, whatever the weather they will be having a rest from cooking, early morning alarms and work.
He took me shopping yesterday as usual so fridge and household stuff has been restocked. Only bread stuff for the freezer and the mission is back on to continue getting stocks down! I got a shepherd's pie base out last night so just some mash needed for the top. A few veg yet to prep.
Have a good day folks if you can with thoughts and ((HUGS)) for all in need. Take care all, be safe xx

Morning all
Another misty morning but temperature is due to be a bit better than yesterday.
Snap @TravellingAbuela we've got shepherds pie today too!
Woke up to see that I've received my deposit returned from our cancelled holiday. I sent my DH the balance so he could pay it through his credit card to get the points so he should have got that today too.
DH has got my little greenhouse out so I'll decide what seeds to plant today. Runner beans are definitely on the cards again though.
Have a good day all xx

Morning again, it's fine here , well, it's dry with grey skies, feels chilly as well.
Yesterday was an ok day, we've started tidying the garden and will continue today, it's much needed.
We weren't out at all, just busy round the house and garden.
Hope everyone has a good day, whatever you're doing, take care folks.

Good morning
Thank you for the start @ScarletRibbons
Sunny day forecast so I need to get into the garden. Lawn needs another cut.
Take care
If you walk at night no-one will see you cry.11 -
Good morning all - and thanks for the start @ScarletRibbons. Weather here is very uninviting, misty, grey with light drizzly showers. Not a day for the garden unless it brightens up a lot. No grass cutting here yet @silver-oldie, we also don't have any lambs yet as the sheep go on until mid-late April because of the weather.
The butter chicken yesterday was tasty though my stomach growled and rumbled for ages afterwards. 😗 There's a small portion left so I'll add in some cauliflower and sprouts to bulk it out.
I don't have any real plans for today. There's a notion in my head to go to the new cafe which has bakery stuff this morning, perhaps there'll be a good loaf or butteries, not that I really need anything. There's also some more financial stuff to sort out before the end of tax year, there's not much time left because of a late Easter.
Still missing a few of our lovely members here, I hope that all are well. Have a good Sunday, hugs to all.

Morning all
Bright and beautiful day here but a bit chilly, I have stripped the beds this morning and got them on a hot wash, the bedding can go on the line today.
I did some pottering in the garden yesterday, and potted on a few houseplants we has to smash one pot to get the plant out which was a shame as it was a lovely pot, I also potted on my lemon trees that I grew from pips they are doing really well and my sweet pea seeds are all shooting, I have also ordered some gherkin seeds, I always make picked cucumbers but have never been able to get the tiny gherkins so I thought I would try and grow some.
Today we are going to take off the outside cushion covers and get them washed and dried, ready for summer.
Dinner tonight will be roast pork I will do enough for tomorrow and do one for mum too.
The utility has been emptied ready for painting tomorrow I shall be glad when it’s done as the mess is driving me mad.
Have good days all and take care xx

Morning everyone thanks for the start scarlet we had a lovely day eventually yesterday after waking up to frost we had sunshine all day and it was warn in fact hubby is back in his shorts for the rest of the year yes he’s one of them that wears shorts in all weathers I got all the bedding dry . Not a lot happening today the kitchen got a good clean yesterday and I made enough soup for my lunch every day this week just out of left over veg and some tomatoes I got given hubby cleaned the garage out and gave it a good sweep he was terrified I would do it and start throwing things out I will wait until he’s on the golf course next week before I do that he will never know but at least it’s tidy . We are just trying to keep busy in the house and garden we don’t need anything and I’m trying to build my savings up I need a new kitchen floor desperately and while the weather is nice I can find plenty to do on our doorstep the price of fuel we feel as if we are just spending money driving anywhere. Thinking of all the poorlies hugs to those that need them have a good day everyone whatever you are doing

Good morning
Bright and sunny here, I was expecting fog. The forecast is for showers later.
Not much planned for today, the vacuuming has been done already. It's a twice a day job now BD is shedding.
Roast for dinner later, we have beef and lamb ready cooked in the freezer, so nice and easy.
Have a good day all, take care.

Morning all. Misty here this morning but I hope it's a heat haze!
We have DS and DDiL coming to lunch today and bringing her parents. I've made an enormous veggie lasagne, that seemed to take me all morning yesterday and I'm sure there will be leftovers. If it's sunny we'll go out for a walk around town as the in laws haven't been here before.
Yesterday was spent mainly cooking and prepping for today but we went to a great Morris Ale last night and had a really enjoyable time. Lots of dancing, playing music, eating and catching up with old and new friends.
Hope everyone has an enjoyable Sunday; take care all.
