ISA Renewal Date Query
In 2023-24 I took out a new 1 Year Fixed ISA on 2nd April 2024 which I renewed on 3rd April 2025. I expected to be able to renew on 3rd April 2026 but notice that renewal date has slipped to 8th April which is in Tax year 2026-27 because of the Easter Bank Holidays. Will this affect my 2026-27 ISA allowance as I was hoping to start another ISA to keep up my maximum tax free savings.

Your ISA allowance is £20k of new subscriptions from 6 April, regardless of any existing ISAs (or it's/their maturity dates).
So if you have made no new subscriptions since 03/04/25 you could subscribe £20k between now and 05 April and another £20k from 06/04.

No, transfers of cash ISAs containing subscriptions from previous tax years won't affect your 2026-27 ISA allowance so the transfer date doesn't matter.
