The same story as many others ordered oil on 01 March money was taken 02 March had confirmation oil was on the way 03 March. On the 04th I had email asking me to cancel my order ?? Nothing to do with price I’d paid £322 for 500 litres now being quoted over £700 for same amount. We have used boiler juice for about ten years now I feel utterly disappointed by it all.

As I understand it, Boilerjuice are not a supplier. Only an intermediary connecting customers with whichever supplier has the lowest price in their database based on your requested volume and supply timeline.

Their Ts&Cs, state that your contract is with the supplier they allocate to your order.

I guess if their nominated supplier for your order jumps on the price increase bandwagon, then there is not much they can do about it.

We have used boiler juice for about ten years now I feel utterly disappointed by it all.

To be fair, this is not unexpected with Boilerjuice (or other similar comparison sites). They are often good value when there is excess supply and capacity but when things get tight on that front, they go completely the opposite way.

Its why I use a local independent supplier. I pay more in normal times but they honour the price at the point of purchase. Plus, they typically deliver next day.
