Toyota Financial Services
Hi, I bought a used Toyota IQ on finance from a main dealer in 2011. I part exchanged the car in 2013. I do not have any remaining paperwork from the finance agreement or the policy number.
I sent a MSE template complaint to Toyota in March 2024.
I have provided my ID etc, copies of my bank statements showing a payment to TFS and a letter from the DVLA showing I owned the vehicle. Toyota say they cannot find any record of any finance agreement.
I contact the ombudsman and I've received an email from them today including a message from Toyota again requesting a copy of the agreement or the policy number.
I have checked my Equifax file and frustratingly the finance is not shown on there.
Is there anything else I can do?
Many thanks

Have you tried using the Equifax finance agreement search tool? My finance from 2008 doesn't show up on my credit file, however the tool was able to find it from somewhere and give me the policy number.
