I’ve just got the email too.
Current rates;Day rate 29.22p/kWh
Peak rate 43.83
Cosy (off peak) 14.33
April 1st rates;
Day rate 25.71
Peak rate 40.32
Cosy (off peak) 10.82
Our average use over the past year has been 800kWh per month, with about 10% being at the peak rate and 40% off peak since we signed up to that tariff. The fix is until 1st October.
I calculated that we could save an average of £28 per month, although I appreciate we are moving into the warmer seasons so this will be reduced somewhat.

3.99 for me as I locked in later than others.
Looks like a 3.5p/kWh cut on all rates across the board.
(Except for agile and tracker - they're more complicated and not been announced yet as far as I know).
PPI success. Banding success. Double Dip PCN cancelled! South facing solar (Midlands) and battery. Savings Session supporter (is it worth it now!?)0 -
Got my email this morning unfortunately my Octopus Go rate ends 10th April, Octopus emailed earlier this week they will renew my Go tariff on the 10th April for a further 12 month, with the 3.5p/kWh and increase standing charge I will approximately be between £10 - £13 better off.
I cannot complain.

I received my email - as others have said, Octopus are stating that they are reducing the unit price but keeping the standing charge the same. My understanding was that it was the standing charge that was going to be reduced? Did I misunderstand this?
Here is the response from Octopus when I asked them the question:
Your current unit rate is 25.758p per kWh, and from 1st April, this will automatically reduce to 22.251p per kWh. This new rate will remain in place until the end of your current tariff on 26th June 2026. However, your standing charge will stay the same and will not be lowered.

I count E standing charges due to increase in 10 regions on 1 April, decrease in 4 regions, will not effect existing fixes etc.

The government did move a small amount off the s/c and then Ogem added on some other costs, I think
