    I choose Sky because it seems most if not all other Providers had two built in price rises in the 2 year contract when the cost of broadband is falling.

    Surprised as only been with Sky a few months.

    Looks like a new customer with Sky pays 50p less than I'm paying now.

    £3 increase is more than 10%

    After my experience with the AI "assisted" agent, I rang up. They offered to freeze my price in exchange for restarting the minimum term. If you recently joined I suppose there's not much to lose in doing that.

    Alternatively inform them you intend to migrate away due to the increase and do that.

    The £3 rise is on the base price whatever that may be, not your discounted price.

    For 150Mbps BB the current 'standard price' is £43 per month, £46 per month from 1 April 2026 and will be £49 in April of next year.

    @Isolis

    Thanks.

    What a shower Sky are. Eventually I got through security - phew.

    Talked to them they point blank refused to change the new 1st April price. So I refused the new price and was transferred to the leaving notice dept.

    They offered to reduce my present £25 to £22 for March and then increase to £25 from April.

    I 've made it sound easy it wasn't it took quite a while .

    So next April 2027 to watch out for :-)

    @dnpark38 well done!

    On the help pages I went straight for cancellation and got the right person first time. Some of it might depend on the way you navigate the help pages, who knows!

    @Isolis

    I used the phone number given in their email and got an overseas sounding person who just said there could be no changes and even tried to get me to have Sky TV etc.!

    Your advice to get to the cancellation dept. first is excellent the person there was very helpful, just the opposite to first person.

    I've just had it confirmed by my advisor on the Sky chat service that there will be no termination fees.
