Time taken to transfer

Anybody know how long Santander takes to transfer in? My existing account is with Tesco Bank.

I'm transferring out of T212 into HSBC fixed ISA for their cashback offer. Because T212 aren't part of the industry standard transfer system HSBC said they have to send me a paper transfer form. I was surprised they have to post it to me. I thought an emailed form would have been fine. I was also surprised that they haven't emailed me any confirmation, the account just appeared in my HSBC app and I have 30 days to get the form back to them. I'm hoping it arrives quickly.

As both of those ISA providers use the BACS ISA transfer service, transfers should be electronic and these can be completed in as little as 1-2 days. The transfer process does rely on the efficiency of both providers though, so can sometimes take a bit longer.

I transferred from Halifax to Santander a good few years ago and the money was credited to the new ISA 3 days after submitting the request via online banking.
