Ninja SP101UK air fryer dead after 5 years
As per the title, the lights went out on our SP101UK air fryer last night a few minutes into a 30 minute bake last night. Now it won't power on. We tried replacing the 13A fuse, and have confirmed that the socket is good. Also tried leaving it unplugged for half an hour to see if it resets, but it didn't help.
I was wondering what other people's experience of this model was, from a longevity perspective?

I don't have any experience of using air fryers but, generally, for low value consumer electronics of this nature, if it failed after 5 years, I would typically simply consider it to be at end of life and buy again. As this is MSE, rather than buying the Ninja (which is expensive to pay for the marketing), why not consider a virtually identical non-branded version such as Gourmia?

The problem we have had is finding another air fryer which is small enough to fit in the narrow space under our boiler. The SP101UK fitted perfectly, but every other air fryer that we've seen is much too tall

It looks like you can buy the same model as a direct replacement from Euronics:

You can't lose anything by contacting Ninja customer services first, but I'd not be hopeful of much. They might offer a discount for a new device.

Thanks.I did contact Ninja, and they have indeed offered me 30% off other products, as well as confirming that they had no plans to restock this one.
I have contacted Euronics to check availability.

If you just want the same again, that link I shared up thread shows in stock at £150. Amazon also showing in stock at £220. Entering the part number in a search engine gives more purchase options.

The Amazon listing shows a delivery date July-September.
I did trawl through the first 2 pages of Google results for that model and it was either out of stock or "call for availability" everywhere - including the Wanstead link that you posted earlier (I have messaged them in any case)

OH, sorry - I did not see the 3-7 months lead time for the Amazon link (just saw the "in stock").
The Wanstead one might be a distance rather than availability issue? Let's hope they give you a positive answer.
Otherwise, Asda seem to have a "short" air fryer:

Tefal also seem to offer a virtually identical unit at a higher price.
Or a ProCook unit, perhaps more similar to the Ninja you have:

Many thanks for that. We've been using the Ninja unit as our main toaster as well, so that Procook unit could be a possibility as that has a grill as well.
One of the main reasons that we went for the Ninja was the 60 second pre-heat time, which was a game changer for us. I'm not sure how the Procook unit stacks up, but will look into it…

If you search 'Pizza oven', there are plenty with similar height

Thanks for that. None of them seem to quote the preheat times, which was the most important feature of the SP101UK for us. The first one claims that it does 6 minute pizzas with no pre-heat required, but it's not clear whether that gives a clue to general preheat times for the air fryer.
