Moving home with Toob

Hi everyone,

Currently with Toob broadband at £29 p/m and in an 18 month contract until Jan 27. We are hopefully going to be moving house in the next couple of months to a property where Toob is available. However, when we move, they will start a new 18 month contract at that point on the same price as we are currently paying.

Is there any scope for negotiating a new customer deal here in my partner's name instead (there is currently one available for £22 p/m)? I'd understand having to continue the contract until its original end in Jan next year, but to restart it again seems a bit unfair. As the provider is available at the new address, we can't just leave.

Thanks for any advice!

You could try, but then expect to have to pay the early cancellation costs in your name?
