QDR are a strange bunch . A couple of years ago the Defendant had a hopeless case - the only thing that we could attack it was the defective PoC alleging the wrong date - the date was Americanised .
After receiving the defence - QDR paid the court fee to amend the PoC - we amended the defence to pay only the core charge of £100 plus fees in accordance with PoFA . They accepted it ….
Not very commercially savvy aren’t they - made a loss of around £100 - it would have been cheaper to discontinue the claim and move on to the next victim ..
