We are writing to you in relation to Claim No. ******** in which you are the Defendant.
In accordance with CPR 17.1(2)(b), a party may amend a statement of case with the written consent of all other parties or with the permission of the court. We are therefore seeking your consent to strike out two points of the Particulars of Claim, which have been served upon you.
Specifically, we respectfully request your agreement to strike out and amend Paragraphs 2 and 4 of the Particulars of Claim. These amendments are intended to clarify the issues in dispute.
The court expects parties to cooperate in the conduct of proceedings under CPR 1.3, and the amendments sought fall within the court’s general case management powers under CPR 3.1(2)(m).
We would be grateful for your urgent confirmation whether you consent to these amendments by 4:00pm on 13 March 2026.
If we do not receive your consent by this deadline, we will proceed to make an application to the court for permission to amend, and we will draw your lack of engagement to the court’s attention when addressing costs, which we hope will not be necessary.
We look forward to hearing from you
Yours faithfully

What is it in their POC that they are scrabbling to apply to amend?
Makes me wonder if QDR has had an adverse judgment and warning from a judge that has worried them…

I did see an article from December 2025 in a Credit-connect newsletter about QDR (when looking for something else) from which there is an extract below. They may have new brooms going through their paperwork.
QDR Solicitors, a dual-regulated legal and debt recovery firm, has announced a strategic partnership with Nutun, a South African customer experience and collections outsourcing specialist. The investment provides QDR Solicitors with access to Nutun’s extensive resources and operational scalability. The agreement enables QDR Solicitors to expand its footprint in financial services and other regulated sectors, meeting rising demand for SRA and FCA-compliant debt recovery and legal services.
