DCB legal - court papers

Received initial letter for a parking fine a couple years ago, for a day in December 2021. They said I illegally parked in a hospital car park and owe money.
I was actually a nurse employed by the hospital at the time, and paid through my salary for the car parking.
I have continuously ignored them until now when I have received court papers. I am ofcourse going to defend this as I am not liable to pay them anything. I had every right to park there. But just want to see if anyone else has been in the same situation?
They make me laugh because I worked there march 2020-April 2022 and never received any other tickets. But apparently was illegal on one of my shifts in December 2021😂.
Just looking to hear from people who fought back against this and won. I don’t really have much evidence for court other than a payslip but I guess that’s all I’d need surely?

Definitely not a fine, Definitely not illegal either

A payslip is useful for the exhibits stage, but isn't a defence to the actual POC

Plenty of Money Claim threads on here , if you look, especially DCB LEGAL cases ( thousands. )

Post the name of the parking company claimant

Also post the issue date from the top right of the claim form below

And also post a redacted picture of the POC from the lower left of the claim form below after hiding the VRM details first

With an issue date of 06/03/26 and providing you complete(d) the AoS after 11/03/26 and before or on 25/03/26 your defence deadline date is 4.00 p.m. on 08/04/26

As @Gr1pr writes, there is a defence template for you that includes Chan & Akande where no breach is pleaded.

That's a high amount £231.08 they're trying to claim for a pcn which would have been ?£70 OR £100
