My car warranty runs out in April and the MOT will become due.

it needs an MOT doing anyway before the 3 years so you have nothing to lose. If there's anything been niggling you, this is the chance to ask them to have a look at it while it's at the garage and hopefully fixed under warranty.

If it were to fail on springs, it'd be because they've broken - which will not be warranty, but road damage.
Likewise premature wear to bushes or ball joints.
If the dampers were leaking badly enough to fail, you'd almost certainly notice the lack of damping while driving.
I'm genuine struggling to think of anything that would be a warranty issue, but an MOT fail, which you wouldn't already have noticed either just through driving the car or from your usual basic regular checks.0 -
OP, check your warranty. My Peugeot warranty also came with MOT cover - failures on the MOT were covered. My rear pads and discs need to be replaced for the MOT and the discs were covered by the warranty.

Wheel bearings if they aren't at a stage you can hear them. Our Yaris did 12 months between advisory and needing to be changed, which was done under warranty. There may be minor fluid leaks which need attention.

Read the T/C of the warranty. It will tell you what is not going to be covered.

A week before my car hit three years old, I booked it in for it's service and MOT.
Lucky I did as a parking sensor was failing, they did the MOT and service, booked the In for 3 weeks later to be fixed, was covered by warranty as diagnosed before 3 years old.

That would have come up on the full body diagnostic fault-code reading as part of the main dealer service. Mr MOT cares not one jot for parking sensors.

It was to highlight the 3 year warranty part.

We know that the OP has a warranty. That's not in doubt.
What is in doubt is whether anything that would fail the MOT test would be covered by the warranty. Very unlikely I'd have thought...

The chances of a 3 year old car failing an MOT on something that a manufacturers warranty would cover is probably between 0% and 0.1%.
Shocks & springs being covered by warranty on a 3 year old car is comparable to living in a fantasy world. You haven’t came up with any life hack.
