Current ID Mobile 15GB Cheap Sim Deal

Reading the latest MSE newsletter and in their sim deals section, I'm thinking about one of the sim deals but the ID Mobile deal mentions only sim not eSim.

I don't normally buy Sims but I want more data and as my mobile accepts eSim, this is what I want to buy.

What I can't work out is if I buy this deal will there be an option to have it as an eSim?

I'm not sure how all this works: Does it reset to 15GB on the first day of each month?

If I for instance, bought this deal on the 29th of whichever month and activated the eSim, would I be paying the full amount for that month even though I will be using it for only 2 or 3 days?

Mobile contracts don't work on calendar months, so if you started it on the 29th, the next billing will be 1 month later. So no, you get the full month of service.

Can't see why not - quick look at the iD Mobile site shows that you can choose physical SIM or eSIM for any of their deals, just select at checkout.

You are correct. After a bit more searching I did find:

'eSIM is now available for all iD Mobile plans.' which is great news.

I've got an iD mobile eSim. Installation was easy but had to contact support as I stopped recieving incoming calls. They follow a script - they all kept trying to get me to do the same things despite me trying them it's done it several times and another time was unlikely to make much difference. I had to get a new eSIM and it was eventually resolved. Be warned the customer service is budget at best…
