eon tariff

Also keep in mind, the £50 discount on the Eon tariff is applied to the unit rate. It depends on how much you use as to whether you get more or less than the indicative £50
EDF have a similar tariff that guarantees £50 per fuel per year discount, as they apply the discount to the Standing Charge

You sure that VAT calculation is portrayed correctly?
As example, for Next Fixed 15m V7 Electricity, the Total should be calculated as £581.26 + £155.02 = £736.28 plus 5% vat which comes to £773.09 inc VAT - it looks like you are showing the ex - vat figure rather than inc vat in the Total column.
Pedantic I know, as long as the same sets of figures are calculated in the same way (either ex-vat or inc-vat) its still a valid comparison.

The figures I used include VAT.

Has anyone successfully switched to this E.on tariff? I'm their customer, tried to switch to 15M V7 and they say it doesn't exist!

Can confirm this. The deal will be honored, I've just called. Get it while you can! :)

Hiya sparky0138,
thank you so much for this, it makes it so much easier to understand. It looks like I did the right thing.I find it confusing when unit price goes down and standing charge goes up so never really sure if I’d be better off. Many thanks for your time and help

I'm with E.on currently fixed until Oct 1st. I just applied for this MSE/E.on deal. Does anyone know if I will be moved onto new fix right away, or does my current fix run its course first, then onto the new one? It's actually slightly cheaper than the fix I am on currently.

New one year fix now available as a backup.

You should be moved straight away. The only time I've ever been given the option to start a tariff straight away or wait until my current tariff ended was when I was within 49 days of it ending.
