Two claim firms
I accidentally instructed two claim companies Reclaim24/7 and Courmacs legal regarding my 2015 HP agreement with Ford. Courmacs legal was the first one but went radio silence so foolishly I went to Reclaim 24/7 (slater & Gordon. This week I received a email from Courmacs advising me that I may have two claim firms working on one claim and I should cancel one as soon as possible. I have looked a the cancellation policy of Slater & Gordon and the want £250 + VAT, I have requested the cancellation policy of Courmacs but haven't received anything yet. Reclaim 24 7 (slater and Gordon ) sent me there FAQs and below is a section on instruction of two firms. Have a read it correctly and if I just ignore both firms and let the process run it's course I won't have to pay anything as one will just withdraw. Basically I don't care if I win or lose I just don't want to pay anything to any if these firms.
- I think I may have instructed more than one law firm — what does that mean for my claim?
If you’ve instructed more than one firm, or submitted a complaint yourself before instructing us, this may result in duplicate complaints being sent to lenders. From the outset, we’ve emphasised the importance of appointing just one representative to act for you. This helps avoid confusion, delays, and the risk of your complaint being rejected or deprioritised by lenders. It also ensures your claim is handled efficiently and in line with the FCA’s expectations for the redress scheme. If we identify that a complaint has already been lodged by another firm or by you directly, we will withdraw our complaint and confirm that we will no longer be involved. You will not be charged any fees by us. This approach helps maintain fairness and supports the smooth running of the redress process. Our goal is to protect your interests and ensure your claim is properly represented.

Doesn't sound like you "accidentally instructed two claim companies", more like you instructed one, didn't withdraw and instructed a second.
From the FAQ extract that you've quoted it sounds like Reclaim 24/7 will make no charge if you withdraw, confirm that with them and do so.

I would let reclaim24/7 know that you've instructed 2 firms, and per their FAQ they should withdraw at no cost to you.
