    Motability used to be pretty hot at charging for anything they could get away with. Dings and dents guys had a steady trade which is the reason I said ask the question of them. Their Car - Their Rules and the last thing you want is a hefty bill

    5kWh is the OP’s consumption, apparently.

    If the OP gets nice MG ZS with a 50kWh battery - this is only 10% of the capacity. So over a year that's 36.5 cycles per year. The LFP battery will happily run to 3,000 cycles or so, so plugging in every day will wear the battery out in 82 years.

    I'm not convinced it'll be a massive problem over a three year lease? Or even detectable?
