The standing charge hasn't been removed from energy bills?

The removal of the standing charge for energy bills is only a limited time trial.
What method do YOU propose to pay the infrastructure and upgrade cost of the water and energy network?

They aren't removing the full standing charge as far as the current limited Ofgem Pilot Trial - only about half of it - around c£150.
"As part of the pilot, customers who choose to take up the tariffs and use both electricity and gas could expect to pay about £150 less per year on standing charges compared to staying on the price cap"
