Toyota - No paperwork, can I do anything

So I put a claim in using the template supplied by MSE for a car I brought on finance from a Toyota dealership in 2009. I supplied the dealership name and location, the car registration, date of purchase and all my details.

Toyota have come back to me and said that they cannot process the claim unless I provide an agreement number or similar. Their justification is that all their records have been anonymised, so the only way they can identify the agreement is with the agreement number.

I've changed email addresses and moved house numerous times since then and all the paperwork is gone and I have no records of any agreement numbers.

Is there anything I can do?

Thanks
