Glad I changed it then. Thanks for the support!

I have nothing to add. Don't recall it whatsoever. I don't respond to private tickets until it gets to this (thanks to this forum!) so even if I had received tickets, I wouldn't have responded.

The location is near where I worked. So I can only assume that IF I had overstayed, it could've been there a full day rather than the 2 hour limit that is allegedly imposed.

Submitted the defence, I will update when I receive a response!

Meanwhile , please edit your thread title to something more suitable like

I have now received a letter:

I acknowledge receipt of your defence. A copy is being served on the claimant (or the claimant's solicitor). The claimant may contact you direct to attempt to resolve any dispute. If the dispute cannot be resolved informally, the claimant wil inform the court that he wishes to proceed. The court will then inform you of what will happen.

Where he wishes to proceed, the claimant must contact the court within 29 days after receiving a copy of your defence. After that period has elapsed, the claim will be stayed. The only action the claimant can then take will be to apply to a judge for an order lifting the stay.

Followed by a phone call from DCB Legal asking if I want to settle for a lower amount. I declined!
