Euro Car Parka dcbl letter

Hello, just reading through advice. My husband parked his van at a Euro car park and didn’t see the van tariff so just paid the car tariff. Ignored the PCN and now have £170 dcbl letter. We have not responded or challenged anything. Are they likely to go away?!

    Ignore them for now

Come back to this thread if you receive a Letter of Claim or a Money Claim

    No they won't go away

I am guessing as we didn’t challenge it in the first place we are going to end up paying eventually then if they are not going to drop it at any point? Just thinking if it’s worth the aggravation or paying now to get it over with!

The van tariff is ridiculous but that’s not going to be a valid argument I assume…

    Don't make assumptions

Most of these claims are discontinued with help from the volunteers here

There is no incentive in paying £170

There's almost 800 DCB Legal cases which have ended in a discontinuance recorded in another thread.

Euro Car Parks PCNs don't go all the way to a hearing. It doesn't matter if you appealed or ignored, it is defending their claim which makes them go away.

    Nope. You guess wrong.

You will never pay a penny.

PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Reminds me of the old joke; what came first, the chicken or DCB Legal?
