Should I use the same account at Lebara?

I ported away from Lebara as they would not allow an MSE deal on an expired offer.

They told me to port it out to another provider and then come back via a new MSE offer, but some have reported that they are being a bit precious about port and comeback.

So when I port back, should I use the same account I just left, which had the same number?

The account has now gone back to the attach a sim prompt when I log in.

Also how long should I leave it before porting back, a day, a week or a month maybe?

  • I’d say using the same account is usually fine, especially if it’s showing the “attach a SIM” prompt. For timing, a couple of days is often enough, but a week is safer just in case their system needs to fully reset your old account.

    I have two Lebara sims and when I go to "Manage my sim" there's the option to link another.

    Both numbers have been ported out and back in again, to take advantage of MSE "deals", without any issues.

    How long did you wait between porting out and porting back in

  • It was a month because the provider I ported out to was a monthly (30 days) rolling contract. I obtained a PAC from them after a couple of weeks and used it with a new Lebara "deal" less than a week before the 30 days, avoiding a weekend port.
