Update (more so for others that stumble upon this thread and are about to go through the same and/or are a little worried).
Just finished the call with mediation and as expected they have decided to continue.
I briefly went over my defence with the mediator and offered £0, he came back after talking to the Claimant and said they’d accept £60. I laughed and said ‘no thank you, court it is’.
Total call length: 6 minutes (most of that was me talking and laughing at the absurdity of it all).
Mediator said it’ll be around a 3-9 month wait depending on which court it’ll be at.
