Claim Form Confusion
I apologise in advance, this is the first time using this site.
I received a Claim Form from ParkingEye (DCB Legal Ltd), have done AOS and currently writing up a Defence.
On the CF this is what is said under Particulars of Claim but there's some kind of error under point 3. I'm not sure what to do?
3. The Defendant is pursued as the driver of the vehicle for breach of terms on the signs (contract). Reason: .
The documents fail to give the Reason. It just says '.'
Here are some extra details in case it helps (and if you can point me to the correct Defence template that would be fantastic, I'm struggling to locate it due to not knowing the site well yet. My apologies).
-The date of contravention is 25/06/2022
-Said breach is apparently for parking in a small marked bay car park at a local restaurant.
- Restaurant is no longer open.
- Myself and a friend did not see any signage in the car park, even if there were signs - they weren’t obvious.
- If it was one of those ‘put your reg plate into an iPad inside the restaurant’ type things, not one person told us that’s what we had to do nor were there any visible iPads hanging around.
- I have photos proving we were patrons of the restaurant.
- I have bank statements proving we were patrons of the restaurant.
- I’ve gone back through older Google Street Views to see if there are any visible cameras/signs - there are not but it’s also not a completely clear shot of the car park.
- I’ve read and screenshot a couple older reviews stating they’ve had the same issue (no clear signs, no iPad sign-in etc).
- Total charges - £306.96
- I’ve done the AOS and made sure not to do anything else before asking for advice.
- I’ve emailed ParkingEye for copies of their documents.
Thanks so much in advance for any advice.

Thanks for leaving a comment Coupon-mad, but as I said in my original post - I'm new to this. I've searched the forum but it's quite a messy site and haven't had much luck finding posts similar to mine.
Any advice on which specific things I should be searching for? Or even how to? :)
Thank you Le_Kirk, really appreciate the help!

TBH, no need to search.
Just use the DCB Legal ParkingEye para 3 slotted into the usual Template defence.
The forum is a cinch to navigate! See my signature for how to jump to page one.
