Where has the spam reporting thread gone?

There used to be a long-running spam reporting thread in the feedback forum, but it seems to have disappeared and my bookmark is broken. Can anyone point me to where it's gone?

Reporting spam on the MSE forums specifically? If so then isn't the "Report" function on a post enough? Maybe the thread was created before the function existed and now it's no longer needed.

It was renamed The Spam-Busting Guide, and we changed the opening post with some info on dealing with spam.

I'm not sure why your bookmark isn't working, it's the same thread just with a new name. It's Announced/pinned on this board.

Surely the basis of bookmarking is to use the URL, which will change when the thread name is changed?

The link you've shared is https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/5906563/spam-busting-guide/p1 but presumably the old bookmark would have been to a URL containing the old thread name?

The system doesn't care about the name. So you can change the text after the discussion number to anything you want and the forum will still find the thread:

(As a side note: Frustrating if you want to use ChatGPT to find something, because it will often make up a thread name it thinks answers the question, and put that text at the end of a url to a thread that's completely unrelated to the question, so it's given you a working link that looks fine but completely unrelated)
