(((Hugs))) Fayolle. She'll be back.
I got five loads through the WM yesterday, mostly dried outside and finished off in the kitchen overnight.
Vacuumed the top layer this morning, the passage to the shower room yesterday and a small puddle cleared up. No idea who did it; my money's on the dog but I can blame the cats if I want to, because it was a small one.
For the first time in weeks I don't have anything nipping at my heels and it feels great.

Hellooo.. 👋🏼
Have been very aWoL yet trying to read along & participate as and when life allows!
Have been tackling a few frogs for other peeps and quite successfully too, so I’m happy with that..
Now to make a little progress for ourselves at home 🤞🏼
Picking something small each day & dealing with things as they come in as I always used to..
Trying hard to keep the dratted black dog at bay, it’s a sneaky one.. 😔

Afternoon all,
Thank you, HB xIt has been another beautiful day here. I trotted off to the allotment this morning and a couple of hours flew by, just pottering. There wasnso much birdsong, it seems that the birds are very happy about the stop in the rain, albeit probably temporary. Back home for coffee (I didn’t take a flask as I was only going to be 5 minutes…), which I had in the garden, it was so warm. I made myself clean the ensuite before lunch. 2 loads of washing done and dried outside. Loving the smell of outside dried bedding. I did a few other random jobs, and I have finalised tomrrow’s Mr M delivery. Just remembered that a friend is coming round at the delivery time. Ah well.
Easy stir fry dinner this evening, part of my quest to sort out the fridge.

A lovely day here too.
- DW emptied and put away
- one load washing done, hung outside and put away
- flower arrangement done for work colleague's birthday
- voluntary work done
- new 'zumba step' class done; really enjoyed it so I hope the pilot class is followed up
- leftover flowers incorporated into the 'silver and greenery' which was itself a continuation of a Christmas arrangement
- long-delayed email written so that can be crossed off my list
- various minor bits of tidying done
- drumming practice done
Lots more should have been done…….but wasn't…..

Morning all,
I find myself home alone for the day, which is most unusual. As a wise flylady pointed out, all this new albeit temporary freedom can be quite discombobulating.
So, so far, I have washed a load of towels, remade DD’s bed with clean, ironed bedding ready for her distant return, thoroughly cleaned the bthroom and the downstairs toilet. Like Eltee, I have high hopes that these rooms will stay pristine for longer than 5 minutes, due to DH being out of the house.
Mr M is delivering later and a friend is coming round for a cuppa. I have a hm ready meal out to clear another space in the freezer, and will be queen of the remote and the jaffa cakes tonight. Cheap date that I am.

Love it Fayolle (cheap date)
DRUM ROLL Please…the jumper which I started knitting last Spring has, finally, been sewn up. I did put it to one side when mum was ill/died, finished knitting before Christmas and put it aside to work on other projects, too. I'm also knitting a baby blanket and that's almost finished then I will be project-free. But there's a new wool shop opened on the road to the posh neighbours and I fancy a look at their stock; as I prefer to support independents if I can.
I have (mostly) WUALTD. I now need to transfer my mojo to actual flying.

@Valli - well done on sewing up your jumper. It's my least favourite part of the project. My mum often did it for me, so since she died I've had to tackle it myself. Enjoy wearing the jumper! I love a real shop full of wool and I agree it's great to support a local small business.

Ooh, wool discussions! I went into the wool shop on my way back from drumming lesson today, just to get a new needle threader……however I got sidetracked by imo the most beautiful wool so decided to treat myself to a ball so I can have blue shiny gloves…..I've knitted so many for the boaters and various friends this year and my first ever ones (for myself) are getting fairly old and tatty.
Woke up with a real blackdog, don't know why but it felt like a wheat reaction so I don't know where I've had that. Dragged myself up to go to aqua zumba which brightened me up a bit. Zumba step yesterday was great!
Got 15% discount off Mr T, courtesy of BIL who is retired staff, so I stocked up as we have visitors for lunch at the weekend.
Mr N did one load of washing and a load of gardening.
We've just been continuing our plans for the Northumberland hols in May.
That's about it for me today.
