Transferring Sharesave shares into ISA - help needed
Hi,
my Sharesave shares matured recently and I want to transfer them into ISA.
How do I do this? The shares are held by JP Morgan workplace solutions and I'd like to complete the transfer in this tax year. I already told them I want to keep the shares so have just under 90 days to do the ISA transfer.
I don't have a S&S ISA so assume I'd need to open one first - which banks are accepting this type of transfer? Only ever dealt with cash ISA so no idea how it works with shares. The guide provided by JP Morgan is not helpful, it just lists options I can choose from but doesn't explain how to do any of it. I haven't used up my ISA allowance for this tax year.
Thank you!

You might want to look at an investment platform rather than a bank for the S&S ISA. Most platforms (e.g. Scottish Widows Share Dealing, AJBell, Fidelity, ii etc.) will help you transfer sharesave from where they are held into the ISA (up to your annual contribution allowance of course), but the exact process will differ from platform to platform.

A J Bell was mentioned as a participant in SAYE share transfers to S &S ISAs. Their guidance below gives you an idea of the general procedure -
