Paying in foreign cheques
are there any banks that will sell accept foreign cheques? Specifically USD?

Recent threads landed on Lloyds/Halifax/BoS and Natwest/RBS though NatWest's page says it no longer accepts New Zealand cheques.

I'd suspect that's because they've had very few for many years, when I worked in NZ on banking IT systems nearly 40 years ago they were way ahead of anything that was available in the UK, and electronic transfers were so common then that I'd expect them to be pretty much universal by now. It's really only the US that is so backward that they continue to rely on cheques (or checks 😀)
