Okay ive read as much as I can from the newbie post but I was late...

I got a fine for parking 18 mins over took me 11 mins to get a bay but I was only 7 mins late leaving.

They have me on cams with time stamps.

I appealed stating I should have a grace period which they rejected.

I have called the land owner today but she said since ive already appealed direct they wont help me...

Do I pay the £60 or go through all the hassle ignoring the letters and take a risk at court?

It isn't a "fine" it's an invoice from scammers.

From your forum name, you don't happen to be in Scotland do you?

"Do I pay the £60 or go through all the hassle "

Scotland is easier but in England it isn't hassle. I just posted this to somebody else:

Do NOT pay to make it go away. I am constantly astonished good people do that: what a terrible example to set their family (paying a scam because you are scared isn't the MSE ethos)!

Okay ill just sit tight until I get the court summons? I mean if I took the pee id pay but 18 mins counting my time behind traffic too is crazy and they try charge 100 but say 60 if you pay early... I wont bother with the 2nd appeal either seems pointless

Definitely won't be court summons !

Its a Money Claim N1SDT pack from the CNBC in Northampton using MCOL that people receive in England and Wales, a civil court claim

People defend claims every day here. Nothing to worry about.

Got another letter today saying they want £155 now!

After 28 days passed to a debt recovery place.

I just hold still when do I take action?
