Claiming because of cancelled flights
My flight to Miami was cancelled and my 1 night stay in a hotel and transfers to my cruise ship which were all fully paid for were missed as I arrived the following day
My travel insurance said they don’t cover this and British airways said they don’t cover these costs either. It nearly £500 so does anyone have any advise on how to get my money back. Thank you

Why was the flight cancelled, was it booked as a package with the cruise and why does your insurance not cover it, was it an incorrect policy?

OP - I assume you arrived and made the cruise, even if not as early as you'd have liked.
The hotel you paid for is lost but BA should have provided "care" during the period of the delay, so food and refreshment and an hotel at the point of departure while you were delayed.
Why was the flight cancelled?
How far in advance did you know abut the cancellation?
