Is there a best time in the year to switch broadband provider or stay

I am currently out of contract with EE for my broadband services. I am inquiring whether there is an optimal time of year to consider switching providers or negotiating a more favorable deal. My current monthly expenditure for broadband and phone services is £38.

It's easier to compare prices just after the April price increases cone through for mist providers, that way you'll know you'll have a full year before any further price increase comes out, but apart from that not really.

I switched in March last year. Only one "annual" price increase in a 24m contract.
