We have had lower than average rainfall this winter. In Scotland!

I recall Gordon Burns once stating on the local BBC TV evening news that Manchester's rain comes from the Irish sea and not even the rain wants to go to Yorkshire!
In fairness, I'm sure a presenter in Yorkshire has claimed the opposite to explain the level of rain in Yorkshire
